On October 29th 2019, HCP held an official opening ceremony for the newly completed factory in central Jiangsu province of Eastern China; an additional state-of-the-art 37,000m² facility within HCP’s Huai’an location.
Production from the existing 30,000m² factory and 11,500m² metal pressing plant will continue in parallel; putting HCP at the forefront of manufacturing for packaging for cosmetics, skincare, fragrance and toiletries.

The factory opening was celebrated with a traditional Chinese dragon and lion dance performance; concluding with speeches from HCP Group CEO, Eddy Wu (above right) and Baring Private Equity Asia Managing Director, Alex Lee (above left).
The ribbon-cutting was followed by a plant tour, highlighting the cutting-edge facilities that support HCP’s sustainability programmes.
This investment adds extensive manufacturing and decoration capabilities to HCP’s offering, with 100 injection machines and 10 dual coating lines, employment of 1500 fully skilled technicians and operators, as well as new central warehousing for raw materials and finished goods.
New coating lines that deliver a 25% reduction in energy consumption.
Zero VOC emissions via an advanced RCO (Regenerative Catalytic Oxidation) treatment system.
An innovative treatment system that enables 100% of water to be recycled.
An ISO class 2 (300,000/per m3) clean room for the production of skincare packaging suitable for high-quality transparent products.
Advanced systems to reduce and control hazardous waste.
The facility is fully compliant with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations.
