Heat transfer labels are an excellent method of achieving full colour photographic artwork for compact covers without the need for a recess and top-plate, applied edge-to-edge for a seamless finish. It is also possible to include metallic detailing within the artwork and the heat transfer label can be applied to both opaque and transparent covers.
For packs that have a cover/cap recess where a dome or diamond is incorporated, a heat transfer can be applied to the back of the dome/diamond to give stunning depth to the pack. The dome/diamond can be completely clear, tinted or have spray finishes added for tactile appeal. Heat transfers can also be applied to cylindrical packs.
