Plastic that has already gone through a first consumer use which is then recycled is considered ‘PCR’: Post Consumer Recycled.
HCP support the use of PCR to reduce the utilisation of virgin material and is able to produce custom and stock packages in PCR resins of ABS, PE, PP, PET, PETG & PBT materials from reputable sources.
The inclusion of PCR% may vary depending on the client’s own sustainability programme, material, pack structure and process.
HCP is able to incorporate various percentages of PCR into items in the following product categories: compacts, palettes & kits, tottles, pots & jars, lipstick & twist-up sticks, lip gloss and mascara.
